Mette Janiurek earns the 1st place in “Best Poster Award” competition

Mette Janiurek, PhD student from Martin Lauritzen Lab, earned the “Best Poster Award” at the 20^th International Symposium on Signal Transduction at the Blood-Brain Barriers, Krakow, Poland 2017. Her presentation was chosen by international scientific committee and awarded with a travel grant.

Mette presented her work showing that the type of brain microvessel determines the BBB susceptibility to pathological changes in transcytosis.
