Mette Janiurek earns the 1st place in “Best Poster Award” competition
Mette Janiurek, PhD student from Martin Lauritzen Lab, earned the “Best Poster Award” at the 20th International Symposium on Signal Transduction at the Blood-Brain Barriers, Krakow, Poland 2017. Her presentation was chosen by international scientific committee and awarded with a travel grant.
Mette presented her work showing that the type of brain microvessel determines the BBB susceptibility to pathological changes in transcytosis.
Her work is now available online.
